This site was created because I can not keep my finger off the camera button. I ended up with so many photographs stuck on my computer that I thought " Hey! lets not have so many photographs stuck on my computer " So I have stuck them all here instead and now you are stuck with them.
If I am honest it was my cats idea as he wanted to show off his own photo page to all the other cats on the web. He said it would be purrrrfect.
Ok now you see I am not taking this so serious and that is how I treat the photographs that I have shown here. It is all a bit of fun, if somebody can get enjoyment from these pictures then that is great and will make the effort worthwhile. I will be chuffed to my little cotton socks.
I am not trying to be a professional or claim perfection in my photographs, as you will see blurred pictures have been added as im really lazy and can not be bothered going back to take them again. Im only kidding, I will try to retake them when I have the time. It is all just done for fun, I enjoy taking them and I hope you enjoy seeing them. I will update the site as I go along.
No persons, animals or aliens where harmed during the taking of these photographs. However a few security guards have been told to " Wind Yer Kneck IN " along the way. I offer my apologise to those that I have offended.

I stole the idea....whoops.... I mean I was inspired by this site to produce my own. Run by local author and fellow lunatic Ged Fagan, this site is jam packed with old and new photographs of the Liverpool area. Many of the pictures are of places and buildings now confined to the memory and I am sure that anyone with a connection to Liverpool will find photographs of interest to themselves on here. Try it out, its a great site.
A very interesting site about the Childwall area and the church of All Saints. Run by Jonothan Wild who has produced a great collection of history on the area on the site. Living in Childwall as a child and playing in the woods and churchyard, I was very pleased to find this site as it brought back so many memories.
Run by Ron Formby this is a super site about the Scotland road and Vauxhall areas. From local news to history it is all here, and you can read the Scottie Press newspaper here. Some great old photographs are available to view.
Run by Caryl with the help of Jane. If you are from the Liverpool/Merseyside area and you would like to start researching your family tree then this is the place to begin. A very friendly and helpful bunch who will try their best to help you with your research. Myself I knew nothing of my family history until I joined this site, and now I know so much. They have been brilliant and I can not stress enough to you, try it out.
Run by Kev Keegan ( not the ex footballer ) This site is a hive of activity. Hundreds of topics are covered and it has some fantastic posters of photographs and history. there is far too much to mention, but I am sure you will find it interesting. Plus it has a very brilliant member called Spike ( ha ha is wickle old me )
Run by Stephen Nulty this is a very detailed site in honour of the men of Prescot who gave their lives in the first world war. Stephen has done some incredible research and anyone looking for clues on ancestors who died in WW1 from Prescot should try this site. It is also a very interesting site to read, very moving and very humbling.
Run by Jane who has put in a huge amount of work to produce this amazing site. Jane has brought the news back to life by adding stories from days long gone. It has so much and is well worth visiting, reading the tales of old is a fantastic experience.

I would like to wish Debra D’Annunzio all the very best of luck with her new book about the Little Italy community in Liverpool. The book is titled " Liverpool's Italian Families " and is on sale now at good book shops. Well done Debz I know how hard you have worked on this book, good luck with it all.
A fantastic site run by Martin Jones. Superb old and new photographs of Old Swan in Liverpool and its bordering neighbourhoods. Nicely presented with excellent history write ups. A very interesting site that will take you back in time.
